Coaches Bio's
18U-Jeff Jentz
Coach Jentz has been around the game of hockey since he started playing at age four. He played AAA hockey throughout high school and then played NCAA Division III hockey at Concordia College in Minnesota. Coach Jentz has been coaching ever since. He has coached every age group and every level B-AAA over the last 30 years.
Coach is most proud of the relationships that he has built over the years. Staying connected and involved with hockey is one of the driving forces of his life. He has coached multiple NHL draft picks, he has won multiple state championships and coached many teams to nationals. While he is proud of those accolades he is most proud of all the mentoring and deep friendships that have come from his coaching. Coach Jentz coached the U16 CSDHL team last year and he is excited to coach the U18 CSDHL team this year.
Beside his passion for coaching hockey, Coach Jentz loves spending time with his wife Kellee and his three dogs Ricky-Bobby, Cal, and Lucius. Coach is incredible proud of his two children Logan and Lainee, both recent college graduates and amazing people. Coach is the head of academics for TPH Academy Denver.
16U Major and 13U Minor: Jason Gour
Jason Gour was born in Houston, Texas and move to the Littleton Colorado area when he was 8 months old. He grew up playing hockey in the Littleton area from age 3 to age 18 when he had to get surgery on his knee and decided to start coaching. He has coached for 10 years now and has coached various levels from beginner U8 to 18UAA. He has led his teams to 5 USA Hockey National tournaments. His achievements at the national tournament include 3 quarter final finishes a 3rd place finish and most recently with the Littleton Hawks won the 14U Tier 2 national tournament. He prides himself on connecting with each athlete and building relationships to get every bit of effort and confidence out of those athletes. As Jason eats, sleeps and breathes hockey outside of the rink he loves to fish, watch movies and attempt to golf.

16U Prospects-Nick Leitz
Nick, Grew up playing for the Front Range Panthers and the DU Jr Pioneers. He went on to play high school hockey for Dakota Ridge. Nick finished his playing career playing 5 years for Metro State University Denver. His final season they participated in the National ACHA Tournament held in Pelham, Alabama.
His coaching career started with the Foothills Flyers squirt A program. He then made the switch over to the Littleton Hawks coaching the Peewee B team to a league championship, then the 16u Prospects to a league championship, and the last 2 seasons with Bantam A also ending in league championships.
Nick has either worked or played hockey his entire life working at Players Bench Hockey. He enjoys playing Golf in his free time and hanging out with his fiancé.
15U: Shawn Rafferty
Shawn Rafferty (Coach Raff), grew up playing hockey in Minnesota. Shawn played one year of Jr. hockey before enlisting in the military where he served ten years. He began his 31-year coaching career while he was stationed in Minot, ND, coaching U10 through U12. After leaving the Military and moving to Colorado Shawn continued his coaching career with Foothills Hockey Association. He helped build the program from the grass roots level. He served on the BOD as the In-House/Rec Director. He also served as the Coaching Director along with coaching multiple teams from the U12-U18 age groups.
Shawn has coached at every level from rec to Tier II. While at FHA Shawn coached Team Colorado during the High School Chicago Showcase tournament in 2005 and 2006. Leaving LHA after the 2010-11 season, Coach Raff assisted with Chatfield High School for three seasons. He also directed Chatfield's High Plains teams for those years. Leaving Chatfield for a new challenge, Coach Raff began coaching with Littleton Hockey Association, where he has been for the past ten seasons. Coach Raff has been involved at almost every age level of LHA, from U12-U18,leading teams at the A and Tier II levels.
He has coached in the spring and summer programs each year he has coached at LHA. Shawn been one the CSDHL coaches for LHA over the last 7 seasons. He has won two CCYHL and State Championships, and his teams are consistently in the top tier of any league they play in. He is currently the U16AA Prospects head coach. Coach Raff has also served LHA as the Rec Director for three seasons. From 2010-2007, Coach Raff coached and was a team leader for USA Hockey's National Development Camp at the U15 and U17 age groups. Coach Raff brings a love for the game of hockey and his players with an energy that is hard to match.
14U Major: Tanner Doty
Tanner Doty was born and raised in Littleton, CO. Tanner grew up playing for Arapahoe Warriors before making the move over to LHA. After his youth hockey life, Tanner started to play juniors where he learned to adjust his style of hockey that would help his team. Tanner became a role player and someone who his team could count on in the big games. He has been coaching for 7 years and doesn’t plan to stop. Tanner has a good way of connecting with the kids and finding out what they truly want to do with hockey and what they want to do with life. He pushes them to reach their potential, but to never be satisfied and always want more. He always finds a way to make kids smile and enjoy being around the rink even on their worst days. Away from the rink Tanner enjoys spending time with his puppy Finn, hanging out with friends and doing anything outdoors.
14U Prospects: Alec Orme
Alec is 28 years old and grew up playing for the Littleton Hawks organization from which he attended Colorado State University playing for the ACHA teams. Alec spent some time playing professionally overseas after he graduated college in Sweden. He has been coaching now for 6 years now mostly doing skills work on top of coaching A, AA, and AAA level players and teams. Last season Alec was assisting on the 19U and 16U Pittsburgh Penguins Elite girls teams. "I am extremely excited to come back to my home organization!"
12U Major: Corey Wagner
Born in Pueblo, Colorado, Corey started playing hockey by the time he turned four years old. He spent his earlier years playing at various levels in Pueblo, before moving to Vail his Freshman year of high school to play Bantam AAA hockey. Corey returned to Pueblo his Sophomore year of high school to play in the inaugural hockey season of the Pueblo County Hornets in CHSAA. After finishing his high school hockey career in Pueblo, he attended the University of Denver and played club hockey.
Corey began his coaching career at a young age, starting with mentoring and assisting various youth hockey teams in Pueblo, while playing high school hockey. He returned to coaching in 2013 at Littleton when his children started to play hockey. Corey has coached teams at various age groups and levels ranging from AA Tier II to teams within the recreational level and everywhere in between. He has coached at Littleton all but one season since 2013. During the 2023-2024 hockey season, Corey was an Associate Coach for the inaugural season of female hockey at Cherry Creek High School, while assisting the coaching staff of the 12U CSDHL team at Littleton.
11U Minor: Harry Golden
Harry is aColorado native, he grew up in Littleton and went to high school at Rock Canyon High School. Starting at four years old, Harry played for the Littleton Hawks through his 16U season. He then played two years at the Colorado Thunderbirds before returning to LHA for my final season in 2019. Unfortunately in my final season, he had to step away from my playing career due to concussions. Fortunately, he had the opportunity to get into coaching shortly after stepping away from playing and will be entering my 5th year of coaching here at Littleton Hockey Association. "Honestly, I enjoy coaching more than I did playing!"
The past 4 years Harry has been involved with 14U and 12U teams, as I’ve been a head coach for 12U A Black an assistant coach with 14U A Black, and more recently with the 14U AA CSDHL team for the past 3 seasons. A memory that he cherish's most this far into his career would be winning the USA Hockey National Championship with the 14U AA CSDHL team during the 2022/23 season. This past year was his first year as the 8U Director at Littleton Hockey Association as well, and will continue in that position for this coming season. I strive to connect and relate to each athlete in order to get the best out of them and help them become a better player and person. When Harry is not at the rink, he enjoy's playing golf and spending time with family.
10U Major: David Clarkson
David Clarkson is excited to lead this season's 10U AA team at Littleton. David's combined experience as a player and coach are as deep as you'll find in Colorado and will benefit LHA. As a player David won a Memorial Cup with the Kitchener Rangers as a Junior player before turning pro and spending 12 years in the National Hockey League, skating for New Jersey, Toronto and Columbus. After his playing career, David found a natural fit as a coach and has led teams at the youth, youth Tier 1 and high school levels. His unmatched passion for hockey and player development drives his commitment to help grow hockey in Colorado and help players realize similar opportunities that he had to play high level hockey as a kid. We welcome David and his family to Littleton.
9U Minor: Jason Tejchma
Jason was born in Muskegon, Michigan where he started playing hockey at an early age. His playing career spanned from Youth (Honeybaked AAA) to Juniors (NAHL- Danville Wings) to college (University of Massachusetts Lowell). After college he played professionally in the United States, England and the Netherlands. For the past six years, Jason has built a reputation as a top 8U and squirt coach for LHA. His success in developing players has been the result of his combination of deep hockey knowledge, an ability to connect with young kids and tireless preparation. These attributes have also enabled his 10U teams to produce impressive results on the ice, winning CAHA State Championships at the 10U A (head coach) and 10U AA (assistant coach) levels in 2023 and 2024, respectively. It should be another great year of development for Jason’s team!
