2025-2026 Coaching Line Up Coming Soon!
18U-Lee Edelman
Coach Lee returns to the Littleton Hawks for his fourth season with the organization—this time stepping into a new and exciting role as a head coach. Over the past few seasons, Lee has proven to be a dedicated, energetic, and team-first leader, and the Hawks are thrilled to have him guiding players from the top bench spot.
Lee grew up in Connecticut, where he developed a love for the game early on, playing for the Connecticut Chiefs. He continued his hockey journey at the Canterbury School, a well-known prep program, before wrapping up his playing career at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), competing at the collegiate club level. Throughout his time as a player, Lee was known for his work ethic, team leadership, and passion for the game—qualities he now brings to the ice as a coach.
Now based in Denver, Colorado, Lee balances his professional life working with FastenMaster alongside his hockey commitments.
“I’m incredibly excited to step into a head coaching role with the Hawks. This organization has become a second home, and I’m looking forward to helping our players grow both on and off the ice.”
Outside of the rink, Lee enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Taylor, and their chocolate lab, Rider. Whether it's a walk in the park, a weekend adventure, or just relaxing at home, Lee values balance and connection—and brings that same grounded approach to his coaching style.
16U AA-Alec Orme
Alec, 28, grew up on the ice with the Littleton Hawks, where his hockey journey first began. From a young age, he developed a deep love for the game and a strong connection to the Hawks organization—a place that helped shape him not only as a player but as a person. After graduating from the Hawks program, Alec continued his playing career at Colorado State University, competing at the ACHA level and growing both his skill set and leadership abilities.
Upon finishing college, Alec took his talents overseas to Sweden, where he had the unique opportunity to play professionally. His time in Europe expanded his view of the game, exposing him to new playing styles and systems, and giving him a greater appreciation for the global hockey community.
After wrapping up his playing career, Alec naturally transitioned into coaching—a role where he could channel his experience, passion, and hockey IQ into developing the next generation of players. Over the past six years, he has worked with a wide range of athletes, focusing heavily on individual skill development while coaching A, AA, and AAA level teams. His approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, creativity, and helping each player reach their full potential both on and off the ice.
Most recently, Alec served as an assistant coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite girls’ program, working with their 16U and 19U teams. That experience gave him a chance to coach at a high level and further sharpen his teaching approach in a competitive and elite environment.
Now, Alec is excited to bring that experience back home.
“I couldn’t be more excited to return to my home organization in an expanded coaching role. The Littleton Hawks played such a huge part in my development as a player and a person, and it means a lot to now help lead the next generation of Hawks through their own hockey journey.”
Alec brings a strong mix of playing experience, technical knowledge, and a genuine passion for player development. He’s known for his approachable style, high-energy sessions, and his commitment to making every athlete better each time they hit the ice. Off the rink, he enjoys staying active, catching live hockey whenever he can, and continuing to study the game from every angle.
16U Prospects-Nick Leitz
Nick’s hockey journey began right here in Colorado, growing up playing for the Front Range Panthers and the DU Jr. Pioneers. His passion for the game continued through his high school years at Dakota Ridge, where he competed at a high level and began to shape his identity as both a player and a leader on the ice.
After high school, Nick played five seasons with Metro State University of Denver’s ACHA program, closing out a strong collegiate career. In his final year, he helped lead the team to the ACHA National Tournament held in Pelham, Alabama—a milestone moment that marked the culmination of years of hard work, development, and love for the game.
Nick’s coaching journey began shortly after hanging up the skates, starting with the Foothills Flyers Squirt A program. His passion for teaching and player development quickly became clear, and he soon made the transition to the Littleton Hawks, where he's been an integral part of the coaching staff ever since. He first guided the Peewee B team to a league championship, followed by another title with the 16U Prospects. For the past two seasons, he’s been behind the bench with the Bantam A team—leading them to back-to-back league championships.
Over the years, Nick has proven to be a consistent, dedicated, and results-driven coach who knows how to bring the best out of his players. He focuses on building solid team culture, strong fundamentals, and a work ethic that players carry with them beyond the rink.
Hockey has been a constant in Nick’s life—not just as a player and coach, but in the day-to-day as well. He’s spent years working at Players Bench Hockey, staying connected to the sport in all aspects. Whether it’s lacing up skates, sharpening skills, or talking gear, he’s never far from the game.
When he's not at the rink or in the shop, you can usually find Nick out on the golf course or enjoying time with his fiancée.

14U Major: Jason Gour
Jason Gour was born in Houston, Texas, but his hockey roots are firmly planted in Littleton, Colorado, where he moved with his family at just 8 months old. He laced up his first pair of skates at age 3 and quickly fell in love with the game. For the next 15 years, he played competitively in the Littleton area, building a deep passion for hockey, a strong work ethic, and a love for being part of a team. His playing career was unfortunately cut short at 18 due to a knee injury that required surgery—but that moment became a turning point rather than an end. Instead of stepping away from the game, Jason stepped behind the bench.
Over the past decade, Jason has become a respected coach across multiple age groups and skill levels, from entry-level U8 players learning to skate to high-level 18UAA athletes competing at the national stage. His resume includes seven appearances at USA Hockey National Tournaments, where his teams have earned three quarterfinal finishes, a third-place finish, and most notably, a National Championship title in the 14U Tier 2 division with the Littleton Hawks during the 2022–2023 season.
What sets Jason apart is his ability to connect deeply with his players. He believes that coaching is just as much about understanding the person as it is about teaching the game. He takes pride in building real relationships with his athletes, creating an environment where they feel confident, motivated, and supported—both on and off the ice.
“When you really get to know your players and what makes them tick, that’s when the real progress happens—on and off the ice.”
Jason pours everything he has into the sport, but when he’s not at the rink, you’ll probably find him out fishing, catching a movie, or battling the golf course (where the swings may not be pretty, but the effort is always there). Hockey may be his world, but it’s the people in it—his players, their families, and the community—that keep him coming back day after day.
